Allows for compatible DSC Powerseries panels to be used with Alarm.com’s interactive monitoring and alerting services. It also has built-in Z-Wave capabilities which allow it to support Alarm.com’s home automation and energy management services.

When triggered, the Dual Path Module will send alarms and system events over the Telus LTE cellular network. It also supports 3G HSPA, meaning it has increased speed and bandwidth over 2G for better security and more reliable service.

Installation and configuration of the module are simple. It can be done on any browser or smartphone using Alarm.com’s web and mobile support tools which include the Dealer Website, AirFX and MobileTech. Installation between the control panel and the module as well as between the module and the HSPA network can be easily monitored through the SEM’s diagnostic LED’s. These will display signal strength which can be used to determine the prime spot for installation. Firmware updates can be completed Over the Air so you can keep your SEM updated with all of the latest features.

The module doesn’t require its own battery or power supply. It’s hooked up to run directly on the control panels AC power and backup battery.
