turn over the UPS, so that the battery compartment is facing up.
press release tab and slide off the battery cover.
gently flip over the ups, so that the battery falls out.
disconnect black and red wires and put the old battery aside.
connect the black and red wires to the new 12V 8AH Battery.
place the new battery into the compartment.
slide the battery cover until it clicks.
